Sales Networking Privacy Policy

Applies To: All members of the Incidr sales network (the “Network” or “Members”)

1. Purpose

This Privacy Policy governs the handling of shared information within the Network to ensure that all Members collaborate responsibly and maintain the confidentiality, privacy, and professional trust of their companies, clients, prospects, and each other.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all data, insights, and communications exchanged between Members within the context of direct messaging, shared prospects, direct outreach, or any collaborative channels.

3. Information We May Share

Members may voluntarily share the following types of information:

  • Publicly available business contact data (e.g., LinkedIn profiles, business email addresses)
  • Non-confidential insights about companies or industries
  • Information about buyer roles, decision-making processes, or organizational structure
  • Networking opportunities or professional introductions (when mutually agreed upon)
  • Prospecting strategies, tools, or general approaches

Sensitive data (such as pricing, contracts, customer data, or confidential internal strategies) must not be shared.

4. Use of Shared Information

Members agree to:

  • Use shared information only for sales prospecting and networking purposes as intended by the contributor
  • Not misuse or resell any data or insights shared within the network
  • Refrain from directly contacting a lead or contact shared by another Member without consent, especially if it may conflict with the original Member’s active sales efforts

5. Confidentiality

  • Members must clearly mark or indicate any information they consider sensitive or confidential.
  • Members agree to treat such information with discretion and not share it outside the Group without explicit permission.
  • Any breach of confidentiality is grounds for removal from the Group and may result in further action depending on the severity of the violation.

6. Consent for Introductions

  • No Member is required to share contacts or make introductions.
  • When an introduction is offered, it must be done with the prior consent of the contact being introduced and in a respectful, professional manner.

7. Data Storage & Communication Tools

If the network uses shared tools (e.g., Slack, CRM, Google Docs), Members agree to use those tools appropriately and not download, export, or distribute group data for personal use outside of approved purposes.

8. Individual Responsibilities

Each Member is responsible for:

  • Adhering to their own company’s compliance policies regarding third-party data and prospecting
  • Ensuring that any information they share does not violate NDAs or legal agreements
  • Respecting the professional and legal boundaries of others in the Network

9. Breach Reporting

This Privacy Policy may be reviewed and updated by the Network periodically. Members will be notified of any material changes and may be asked to reaffirm their agreement.

10. Policy Updates

Any Member who becomes aware of a privacy breach must promptly notify Incidr or governing committee. Breaches will be reviewed and may result in warnings, suspension, or removal.

11. Acceptance

By participating in the Network, each Member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.
